Our Family Nest school behavior readiness consultation program is designed to help your student transition with success into a new school year and to address concerns throughout the year as needed. This program is designed to work on learner behaviors that are crucial to the success of students entering classrooms at any age. 

Our experience working in schools as teachers, from preschool through adult transition programs, has highlighted the importance of having a prerequisite set of behaviors that make students more successful in a school environment. For younger students this may mean skills such as attending to the teacher, completing independent tasks, sharing materials, asking for help in an appropriate way, and building learner stamina.  For older students, skills such as completing and turning in homework, organizing materials, social skills, accepting feedback, and self-advocacy may be needed.
